What are Characters?
Characters allow you to customize how the AI responds. Each character has its own personality, expertise, and communication style.
Creating a Character
- Open Settings and go to the Characters tab
- Click "Add Character"
- Fill in the character details:
- Name: The character's display name
- Identity: Who the character is (e.g., "A helpful coding assistant")
- Requirements: What the character must always do
- Restrictions: What the character should avoid
- Style: How the character communicates
Using Characters
Select a character from the dropdown or sidebar. All new messages will use that character's personality. You can switch characters mid-conversation.

- Creative Writer: Helps with storytelling and creative content
