What are Quick Prompts?

Quick Prompts are reusable message templates that you can insert into your conversations with a single click. They save time on frequently used instructions, questions, or formatting requests.

Creating Quick Prompts

To create a Quick Prompt:

  1. Click the Quick Prompts icon in the toolbar (lightning bolt)
  2. Click "Add New Prompt"
  3. Enter a name for your prompt (e.g., "Summarize", "Explain Simply")
  4. Enter the prompt text
  5. Save your prompt

Using Quick Prompts

To use a saved Quick Prompt:

  1. Click the Quick Prompts icon
  2. Select the prompt you want to use
  3. The prompt text is inserted into your message input
  4. Optionally modify or add to the text
  5. Send your message

Example Quick Prompts

Here are some useful Quick Prompts to get you started:

  • Summarize: "Summarize the above in 3 bullet points."
  • Explain Simply: "Explain this like I'm 10 years old."
  • Code Review: "Review this code for bugs and improvements."
  • Translate: "Translate the above to [language]."
  • Pros & Cons: "List the pros and cons of this."
  • Step by Step: "Break this down into step-by-step instructions."

Managing Quick Prompts

You can edit or delete Quick Prompts at any time from the Quick Prompts panel. Reorder them by dragging to put your most-used prompts at the top.
