Creating Conversations
Click the "New Chat" button in the sidebar to start a fresh conversation. Each conversation is automatically saved to your local database.
Conversation History
All your past conversations are listed in the sidebar. Click any conversation to continue where you left off.
Auto-Generated Titles
Local Assistant automatically generates descriptive titles for your conversations based on the first message. You can also rename conversations manually.
Search Conversations
Use the search bar in the sidebar to find conversations by content or title. The full-text search looks through all your messages.
Tags and Categories
Organize conversations with custom tags. Create tags for projects, topics, or any categorization that works for you.
Export Options
- PDF Export: Download conversations as professionally formatted PDFs
- Email: Send conversation transcripts via email
- Summary: Generate AI-powered summaries of long conversations
